In response to the growing request of copies of the "Brewin' with Herb" show, the "Brewin' with Herb" show has now become the "Brewin' with Herb" Video Magazine. Now you can see Brewin' with Herb on iTunes. What does this mean you ask? Well it's simple. We will continue to produce the show, however, instead of producing it strictly for cable television, we will be producing it in a magazine type format. This actually benefits the viewer quite a bit more. Instead of a simple 25-30 minute show that is focused on a single topic, we will now begin producing 60 minute episodes that will consist of 10-15 minute segments that will cover some of the following topics.

  • Homebrewing recipes & techniques
-We will feature various recipes that we already have and those that are submitted to us by subscribers. We will also feature different types of techniques that homebrewers can use. The show will cater to all levels of brewers, those that brew in the kitchen, to those that use a RIM system.
  • Homebrewing products & upcoming products
-This segment will feature products that are available to homebrewers, but may not have the recognition they deserve. It will also showcase upcoming products that are currently in production.
  • Featured Breweries
-One of the favorite segments of our viewers has always been when we feature a brewery. In this segment we will feature a brewery somewhere in America. Some past breweries that we have featured include: Snake River Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., BJ's Brewing Co., and Tommyknocker Brewing Co.
  • Homebrewing & Craftbrewing Events
-With all of the brewing events that take place in America, many people don't get to participate in them. We will feature as many brewing events that we can. Some events that we have featured in past episodes are: Great American Beer Festival, Southern California Homebrewers Festival, Renaissance Pleasure Faire, and the National Homebrewers Conference. Future events include: Tour de' fat, Craftbrewers Conferences, and any other event possible.
  • Beer Tours
-There are many tours that people put together each year, where the star of the tour is the beer. The most popular event that most people participate in is our annual Las Vegas Pub-Crawl. Join us as we load up a private bus with our viewers and haul them from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, for a weekend of beer sampling.
  • Interviews with some of the world's top brewers
-Many people are interested in what award winning brewers have to say. We will bring you interviews with some of Americas top brewers to find out just what it takes to be a successful brewer. Some past interviews have been with: Tomme Arthur, Geoff Larson, Michael Ferguson, Tim Morse, Rich Tucciarone, Jim Koch, & Chris Erickson
  • Viewer submissions
-In this segment we will feature submissions from subscribers. If you happen to videotape a brewing event and would like to see it in our show, send it to us!! By the same token, if you have any brewing (homebrewing or craftbrewing) related footage (cooking, club videos, bloopers, etc.) send it to us!!
  • Featured Homebrew club
-This segment will feature 3 homebrew clubs somewhere in the world. The key to this segment is subscriber participation. We need you to videotape your club at various different club events (meetings, festivals, brew days, etc…) The clubs that submit the most interesting footage will be featured in the show, and each member of the group will receive a special gift. At the end of the year, a panel of judges will pick what they believe to be the club of the year (based on various factors) the club that wins, will receive a full 15-minute feature in the magazine. So, if your club is interested contact us for details.
